These social histories of Early Canada capture the contributions of uncelebrated and largely unknown early Canadian settlers, and some Indigenous Canadians. Early Canada’s famous ‘great men’ will give way to lesser-known historical records, people, and stories.
Very interesting, would like to read more about those first two battles. Have you read The Clash of two Americas by Mathew Ehret? I'm reading it now, off and on.
